The ongoing political and military tensions that are now taking place in the Eastern Ukraine – Donbas and Luhansk –clearly show that huge geopolitical rift is appearing on the border between Europe and Eurasia. Росія представила у Раді Безпеки ООН півторасторінковий проект резолюції щодо припинення насильства та створення гуманітарних коридорів на Сході України.

За словами представника Росії в ООН Віталія Чуркіна, під час дискусії у західних партнерів було так багато питань, що аби Росія на них відповіла, то засідання могло б затягнутися на тиждень.

"Ми ще не знаємо, які будуть наші подальші кроки з цією резолюцією", - заявив представник Росії Віталій Чуркін.
